Our Impact

On Saturday 20th October, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 students and 10 teachers from the Saraswati Learning Center to participate in a series of interactive workshops led by our team. Together, we explored both art and cooking activities. In our cooking activity we made healthy fruit skewers and decorated cookies. For the art workshop we made paper cacti along with other crafts. These sessions provided the children with an opportunity to step outside of their usual environment, experience the facilities at BSJ, and engage in a fun and inclusive setting.

Yesterday, Education 4 Cause hosted a volunteer activity at Saraswati Learning Center, where children had the opportunity to paint their own plant pots and plant seeds for tomatoes and sunflowers. We are incredibly grateful for this meaningful experience, made even more special through our collaboration with Tzu Chi School. Let’s continue to include and support all children regardless of their disabilities!

Thank you for everyone that contributed to our non-uniform day - here is an update on what your donations went towards!

We donated 100% of the proceeds to purchasing 60+ care packages for underprivileged families with disabled children. These care packages contained food essentials like eggs, milk, oil, rice, and a snack box with sweet treats for the kids. There were also vitamins and other medications.

A big thank you to @saraswatilearningcenter and @kelurahankemayoran (especially Ibu Fitria - head of the government office) for supporting our project 😊✨

💗 first visit to slc - 24/1/23

recently, we had the opportunity to visit saraswati learning center and do a fun art activity with the children there! we decided to make handprint bunnies with them, and as you can see from these photos, their work was ADORABLEE !! 🫶

afterwards, we recorded a testimonial video for slc, which can be found on their instagram (@/saraswatilearningcenter). by visiting the center, we found out exactly where the funds we are raising will be going to, and the interaction with the children really showed that they are the same as everyone else and should be treated that way. we hope to visit again soon!
